Fabulously smooth-playing neck
Martin went for an auditorium size with the 000 Jr – roughly halfway between parlor and dread – big sound, smaller body. And then, to make it even more playable, there’s a cutaway for easy upper fret reach. But wait – there’s more! Martin call the neck profile “High Performance” – one of those weird things companies come up with on occasion, which really just confuses people. However the profile is compensated, or tapered, shaping from a modern rounded-C at the nut, through a modern flattened-C beyond the 12th fret. Smaller body, the cutaway, and a fabulously smooth-playing neck.
Sonitone preamp sysytem
We’ve talked about the big-body-like projection, but of course this is an acoustic-electric, with the guitar’s output run through Fishman’s renowned Presys Sonitone preamp system, featuring piezo pickup and separate volume and tone controls. When you’re ready to plug in – be it at home or your local venue – the Triple-0 Jr is pro ready!
