The F-412’s 17” jumbo body features all solid timbers – AAA-grade Sitka Spruce top, with hand-selected, figured Maple back & sides. Perfect acoustic tone timbers, with the bonus of extreme good looks. And that perfect tone is triply enhanced, courtesy of an arched back, dovetail neck joint and scalloped Red Spruce braces. It all adds up to incredible tone and BIG projection!
Desirability factor
The 3-piece Mahogany-Maple-Mahogany neck boasts a fabulously thin, flat-C profile, courtesy of graphite reinforcing and a truss rod with 2 support bars. The playability of the necks on all of the Tacoma built models has really added to the desirability factor of these guitars.
Eboby, mother-of-pearl, abalone, bone, gold
That already magical neck is capped with a 12” radius Ebony fingerboard, with shimmering mother-of-pearl and abalone block inlays. Bone nut, (1?” / 46mm width), Ebony headstock overlay, with mother-of-pearl Guild inlay, and Gold plated Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners round out the business end.
